Brittany Murphy’s Husband Simon Monjack Found Dead

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - On late Sunday, Simon Monjack, husband of eminent Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy, was found dead at his Los Angles home. His wife Brittany Murphy died only five months ago. Simon Monjack is a renowned producer and co-writer of films like Two Days, Nine Lives and executive producer of Factory Girl.

Monjack lived with his wife and his Mother-in-law on that house. After his wife’s death on Dec 20, Monjack became very upset. At the time of describing their husband-wife relationship he told that Murphy was his best friend and soul mate. They married in 2007. Monjack also said that they planned a family and contemplating a move to New York. But his plans and dreams could never turn into reality.

An unknown call from a woman was received by the firefighters at 9.40 pm on Sunday. It reported about the news of his death. According to Police spokesman Ortiz the female voice in telephone is still unknown. Sgt. Louie Lozano, another police spokesman told press that the cause of his death is natural. They concluded that there are no sign of foul play and no criminal activities included. Detectives and coroner officials were also on the spot but police told that there are no sign of foul play. Monjack appeared to have died of heart attack.

According to Ed. Winter, lead examiner of coroner, the actual cause of death is still unknown but some prescriptions drugs were found of Monjack and those are now under investigation. Winter said,

There were no illicit drugs located, just prescriptions meds

An autopsy also found that he did not abuse drugs. Winter met Monjack during Murphy probe. According to him Monjack was a nice fellow and his family is devastated after his death.
