LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)- Popular actress Elizabeth Jean Philipps who is better known as Busy Phillips is pregnant. The actress is expecting her first child any time in the forthcoming summer with husband Marc Silverstein. When asked about her feelings, Busy Phillips said that she was very excited and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby girl.

The 29 year old actress got married in the year 2007. This will be her first child with husband Marc Silverstein. The fact that Busy Phillips is pregnant with a daughter has made her all the more happy, says the actress, so much so that she is not even feeling the morning sickness that is very common among expecting mothers.

Busy Phillips is a well known face especially as a supporting actress, a role that she has mastered over the years in films and television shows. The actress’ role in the “Dawson’s Creek” earned her a nomination in the Academy Awards of television as well. Although Busy Phillips is pregnant now she has already announced that the godmother of her yet-to-be-born daughter is her “Dawson’s Creek” costar Lizzy Caplan. This in spite of her best friendship with fellow actress Michelle Williams. As a godmother she would always prefer a mother, says the actress.

Everybody may be curious as to why did someone choose the name Busy for her. It is said that the actress was very active when she was a child, so her family probably nicknamed her ‘Busy’. The name has stuck on and has proved lucky in a way considering that the actress is now called by only this name.
