Sam Rockwell In ‘Cowboys And Aliens’

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Actor Sam Rockwell is all set to team up with Jon Favreau, the Iron Man director for one more time. The star will be seen in the film adaptation of Cowboys and Aliens. The actor who plays an arms manufacturer named Justin Hammer in the sequel to the Iron Man has agreed to shoot for ‘Cowboys and Aliens’. The shooting for the new film is slated to begin in June. The team has an exciting ensemble cast comprising of Hollywood bigwigs like Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. This comic book tale deals with the plot of Indians and Cowboys joining hands to fight the alien invaders.

Actor Sam Rockwell will portray the role of a bar owner who is also pursuing the alien invaders. The writers of the film Damon Lindelof, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman decided to expand the role when they learnt that Sam Rockwell will be acting in the movie. The movie will be produced by Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. It is going to be a really challenging role for the ‘Iron Man 2′ actor. It is not yet known when the producers plan to release the movie, but it is expected to be released sometimes in the next year.

Sam Rockwell is also upbeat about the role he plays in the ‘Iron Man 2′, which will be released within a few days. The first movie was a smash hit and everyone associated with the sequel is feeling the pressure to live up to the expectation of the viewers. Robert Downey Jr is the center of attention in it but Sam Rockwell also has an author backed role in the movie.
