Pokkiri Raja Drops London Song

April 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Pokkiri Raja’s team has done away with the video of one of the songs they had planned for the movie. Set to tune by Jassie Gift, the song, ‘Manikinavin Kothumbu Vallam’ is steadily climbing the list of chartbusters.
The video of the song was supposed to be shot in London. It had to be cancelled at the last minute because Prithviraj, who features in this song with the film’s heroine, Shriya Saran, couldn’t get his visa ready for a London shoot. The crew had no choice but to cancel the London shoot.
Though they could have shot for it elsewhere too, they had to completely cancel it as Shriya was shooting for a movie at London; she wasn’t available for a shoot anywhere else. Director of the film, Vysakh, will create a television version of the song with the help of editor Mahesh Narayanan, with the available shots. The video will premiere on channels in the first week of the film’s release.
Starring Mammootty and Prithviraj together for the first time in major roles, the film will be releasing on April 30.
