AMERICA FERRERA is stepping behind the camera for her latest project - the UGLY BETTY star is producing a new interactive TV show based on ROMEO & JULIET.
The actress, whose run in the hit TV comedy comes to an end this year (10), has signed up to work on an updated version of William Shakespeare’s classic story for MTV.
The show will be given a Latin flavour, with the title Pedro & Maria, and will reportedly embrace online technology to allow viewers to vote on the direction of the storyline using social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, according to Deadline.com.
