LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — The glorious journey of Didi Benami came to an end. She had been eliminated from American Idol last night. She was in the bottom two with Tim Urban.

The 23 year old was slipped to the bottom three along with Tim Urban and Katie Stevens after her rendition of “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted” on Tuesday night.

Didi became the third female contestants in a row to be dismissed from American Idol. She followed Lacey Brown and Paige Miles.

Though it seemed that judges were a bit sympathetic to Didi and trying to save her, public decided her fate by giving minimal number of votes to her.

The elimination of Didi Benami created a huge controversy. Many fans of Didi are raging against the decision. But there are many people contented with it.

Last night Didi wore a gorgeous full length gown, but her performance was not so impressive. She chose a song, very close her heart. It was a song dedicated to her friend, passed away in a car accident. It’s heard that Didi had cried during rehearsing the song. Surprisingly, last night her song lacked emotion.

Didi broke into tear when she heard of the result. The host Ryan Seacrest tried to console the weepy singer saying

You are a very brave young lady.

We wish Didi Benami all the good luck for her singing career.

I am finding Ryan Seacrest’s comments and questions of judges and contestants annoying. What are they thinking, letting him showboat like this?!!! This is a talent contest, and he is certainly not qualified to ask the emotionally charged questions, which are uniquely inappropriate that he has been doing…pop therapy, pop in your face arguing with judges, questioning motives, setting one judge up against the other. I don’t recall last year being this bad. I hope they do something with him or replace him. Enough!
