LONDON - Actor Shia LaBeouf prefers to keep the lid on his romance with Carey Mulligan, insisting they’re not ‘fame whores’.

The Transformers star revealed they both liked to keep their relationship out of the limelight, one of the many things that made them compatible.

“Neither one of us are fame whores - it works out: it’s not like we’re the premiere couple; we’re not the red-carpet king and queen,” the Mirror quoted him as saying in an interview with US GQ.

The lover struck heart throb further went on to describe Carey as “an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I’ve ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds.”

He added: “I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits. But with this, just out of respect, I just don’t want to f*** around.” (ANI)
