U.s. Army Top Brass Back Ferrera Film

UGLY BETTY star AMERICA FERRERA has the U.S. Army behind her new film role in THE DRY LAND - top military officials have given her project with boyfriend RYAN PIERS WILLIAMS’ their blessing.

Piers-Williams sought the support of the Army as he directed his script about a Iraq War veteran returning to his home in Texas, and the military men gave the couple access to some really great research.

Ferrera, who stars in the film and is a producer, reveals, “I was able, through them (Army), to contact women whose husbands had come home with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).”
