Bridges, Bigelow & Mo’nique Double Up Weekend Awards

JEFF BRIDGES, MO’NIQUE and moviemaker KATHRYN BIGELOW doubled up their weekend success by claiming top awards at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards on Saturday night (16Jan10).
The trio could all triple their weekend wins at the Golden Globes on Sunday night (17Jan10).
On Saturday, Bigelow was named Best Director, while her film The Hurt Locker scored another Best Picture honour as the Los Angeles critics handed out their awards. Bridges was named Best Actor for his role in Crazy Heart, and Mo’Nique claimed another Best Supporting Actress for Precious.
