Salt Lake City- Kim Peek, the man who was the inspiration behind the film “Rain Man”, passed away of a sudden heart attack on Saturday. He was 58 years old at the time of his death. According to the reports of his father, Fran Peek, he had suffered a major heart attack in the morning of Saturday. He was taken to a hospital in Murray where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The emergency team tried to revive him, but to no avail. The end of Kim Peek, the Rain Man’s biography marks the death of a man who was a medical marvel, and one who inspired a whole lot of people.
