Garner Fan Charged With Stalking

A man accused of stalking JENNIFER GARNER is facing criminal charges following his arrest on Monday (14Dec09).
A judge ordered Steven Burky to stay at least 100 yards (300 feet/91 metres) away from the star’s family last month (Nov09) - but the stalker was spotted outside the Los Angeles nursery the actress’ four-year-old daughter Violet attends earlier this week and arrested.
The Los Angeles District Attorney has charged Burky with two counts of felony stalking and two misdemeanour counts of disobeying a court order.
Garner has claimed in court documents that Burky has been stalking her since 2002, revealing he has also been sending “packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts.”
She added, “His obsessive and harassing behaviour has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening.”
Burky, who remains in police custody, faces up to four years in prison.
