DAVID HASSELHOFF has been released from hospital following treatment for a reported seizure, according to his attorney.

The Baywatch star was taken to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday (27Nov09), after his daughter Hayley called emergency services when he fell ill.

Reports speculated the 57-year-old actor suffered a seizure but Hasselhoff has yet to confirm the nature of his illness.

According to the star’s attorney, Mel Goldsman, Hasselhoff has now left doctors’ care and is recovering at home.

He tells People.com, “David is home now and he’s fine.”

The Thanksgiving weekend (begs26Nov09) turned out to be full of misfortune for Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach, too - she was arrested on a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge on Saturday (28Nov09) in California.

According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, Bach was put behind bars at the Van Nuys jail before she was released.

A publicist for the actress says, “There was no bail. She is fine. She was picked up and driven home by a friend. She will deal with this.”

Bach was previously arrested for a felony DUI in March (09), while her ex has a long history of alcoholism and is said to have been in rehab in October (09) amid reports he accidentally hit a doctor during a booze binge.

He has also been hospitalised on two separate occasions this year (09), reportedly suffering from alcohol poisoning.
