Nashville- The Barbara Mandrell biography was enriched with a nostalgic experience at the 43rd Annual Country Music Awards in Nashville. The evening must have transported the country singer to a bygone era as Taylor Swift was awarded the “Entertainer of the Year” award, becoming the third woman to be honored. Barbara Mandrell is the only woman till date to win the award twice. Swift brought back even more memories for the singer as she won the award for the best vocalist of the year. Barbara Mandrell had also won that honor twice. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the ceremony.

She was accompanied by George Strait and Charlie McCoy, the harmonic legend. The performance moved Barbara Mandrell to tears.

Martina McBride said that her performance in the 43rd CMA is the most memorable so far.
