LONDON - Blackburn Rovers confirmed Monday that two of their players have swine flu.
Defender Christopher Samba and midfielder David Dunn both missed Saturday’s 5-0 defeat to Chelsea with what was described as “a virus”, but it has not been confirmed whether they are the two with swine flu.
Their Carling Cup tie against Peterborough, though, will go ahead as scheduled.
“A couple of cases of swine flu have been confirmed and other members of the squad and staff have complained of virus-like symptoms,” a club spokesman said.
