boyzone-betterLONDON - The remaining four members of popular music band Boyzone will be paying their tribute to their bandmate Stephen Gately by performing at his funeral in Dublin Saturday.

Mirror.co.uk reports that the performance will be one among the various musical tributes at the funeral.

According to a source, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy agreed to sing because “it is what Stephen would have wanted”.

Though they haven’t yet decided on the song, the foursome would be doing so Friday after discussing it with Gately’s family and his gay partner Andy Cowles.

The Boyzone members are also expected to carry the casket, along with two relatives.

Others to join mourners at the funeral would be Elton John, Andrew Lloyd Webber and the four members of Westlife.

We expect it to be a very musical affair in tribute to his great talent, said Gately’s family solicitor Gerard Kean.

Gately, 33, died Saturday in Majorca, Spain, where he was on vacation.
