The BLACK EYED PEAS are a week away from scoring a landmark half-year at the top of the U.S. pop charts after landing a 25th consecutive week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
The group’s I Gotta Feeling has spent 13 weeks on top - one week more than Boom Boom Pow, which started the Peas’ amazing run back in April (09).
But they face some stiff competition - Jay-Z’s Run This Town collaboration with Kanye West and Rihanna jumps up to two on the new countdown and the rapper’s Empire State of Mind duet with Alicia Keys rockets up 45 spots to five.
Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me is also among the hits with an eye on the top of the charts - the song re-enters the top five at four.
Forever, Drake’s collaboration with Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem, debuts at eight.
