SYDNEY - Late Patrick Swayze’s co-stars and acting colleagues have paid tributes to the veteran star, who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on Monday.
Demi Moore, Swayze’s co-star in hit film ‘Ghost’, posted two ‘tweets’ on Twitter after learning about his death.
“Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as having written on her Twitter page.
“And in the words of Sam to Molly. ‘It’s amazing Molly. The love inside, you take it with you.’ I love and will miss you Patrick,” she added.
Moore’s husband Ashton Kutcher also wrote a short message on his Twitter account, which said, “RIP P Swayze”.
He also posted a link to a video of Swayze dancing in a segment for Saturday Night Live.
Denise Richards revealed that the Hollywood star was brave in fighting “an awful devastating disease with such dignity and grace.”
California Governor and Hollywood action man Arnold Schwarzenegger also paid tribute to Swayze.
He called him a “talented and passionate artist who struck a memorable chord with audiences throughout the world.”
“He played a wide range of characters both on stage and in movies and his celebrated performances made the hard work of acting look effortless — which I know from experience is not easy,” Schwarzenegger added. (ANI)
