Pink alert at MTV Video Music Awards

Sept 14 (IBNS) What do you do when you see a fire brigade van hurtling
towards a red carpet? Alert is the catchword. You make sure the guests
are ready to exit. No, wait!!

Because who knows, a guest may be using this as an entry for the red
carpet. For Pink did exactly that making one of the whacky arrivals of
the season. In last year’s MTV Video Music awards Tokio Hotel arrived
in a silver-grilled monster truck, while T-Pain came atop an elephant.

It was evening in New York and the Radio City Music Hall was bustling
with activity. Just then a fire truck flashing the red light came
hurtling along and it looked like the curtains would drop on the mega
event even before it got going.

But hold on to your breath for it was all good and hunky dory. Pink
was just making a red alert statement on her entry into the red
carpet. The pop dive in ultra short black-white dress was helped to
alight by some firefighters and then in company with her husband Carey
Hart she walked along.

But what spoiled the effort was Shakira entering the venue two minutes
earlier in the same dress. On her entry stunt, Pink said, “I have
castle complex. I like fairy tales.”
