Paula Abdul offered to judge ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ contestants

WASHINGTON - After ‘American Idol’, Paula Abdul has been offered to be a judge on another TV talent contest - ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.
Abdul’s seat on the judging panel of the singing competition has not been confirmed yet, as her manager, David Sonenberg, told the Los Angeles Times that “it does not appear” that she will be returning to Idol in 2010.
However, reports have suggested that she might go to the rival dance show, after the programme’s judge Nigel Lythgoe revealed that he would consider her for a role “without a question”.
Lythgoe, who created the dance talent show in 2005, used to be a producer on ‘American Idol’, while Abdul has worked as a successful choreographer, reports Contactmusic.
Meanwhile, talks have come to a halt between Abdul and TV executives as she bids to return to her spot alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and last year’s newcomer Kara DioGuardi.
New reports have claimed that Abdul’s contract renewal is being delayed because she is demanding a whopping 20 million dollars, which is 10 million more than bosses are willing to offer her. (ANI)
