ASCOT, England — Vision D’Etat has won the Prince of Wales’s Stakes by a half length at Royal Ascot.

The 4-year-old colt from France made a powerful run from last to first in the final eighth-mile and then held off 6-4 favorite Tartan Bearer for the victory. Never On Sunday was a head back in third place in Wednesday’s Group 1 race at 1¼ miles on the turf.
