LONDON - Unseen photographs of late Beatles legend John Lennon and his wife went on display at a museum in New York.
The photos of Lennon and Yoko Ono were put up in an exhibition - “Give Peace A Chance: John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Bed-In For Peace” - that opened at the museum in Bethel Woods June 12, reported dailyexpress.co.uk.
The images were taken and featured by photographer Gerry Deiter, who covered the couple’s famous 1969 peace protest for Life magazine.
Deiter was the only photographer who spent all the eight days of the “Bed-in” with Lennon and Ono during their honeymoon and captured photos of the couple singing, doodling and chatting with famous friends like Tom Smothers and psychedelic era guru Timothy Leary.
