Katy Perry was dumb struck after meeting idol Madonna

LONDON - Katy Perry has revealed she could barely get words out of her mouth after meeting her idol Madonna for the first time.

The singer said she was thrilled to learn that the Queen of Pop liked her music during an interview last year.

And when the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker finally came face to face with the megastar, all she could mutter was “thank you”.

“I met Madonna after her show, with just her close friends and dancersm” The Daily Star quoted her as telling Britain’s Glamour magazine.

“(But all I could say was) ‘thank you’. It was all I could get out of my mouth,” she added. (ANI)
