Showbiz pals support Amanda Holden after baby tragedy

LONDON - Showbiz pals have showered Amanda Holden with heartfelt support following her tragic miscarriage of her baby son seven months into her pregnancy.
Celebrities, along with thousands of ordinary fans, sent messages of support to the 39-year-old telly favourite who had been rushed to hospital last week after sensing the baby was not moving, reports the Daily Star.
It is a double tragedy for Holden and husband Chris Hughes after she suffered a miscarriage in 2010.
Among the first to offer condolences were close pal and ex- fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, ‘This Morning’ presenter Holly Willoughby, former ‘Spice Girl’ Emma Bunton, ‘Apprentice’ chief Lord Sugar, and actress Sarah Parish.
“My sweetheart. I’m so very sorry. Please God, watch over your family and your little angel in heaven,” tweeted pregnant Myleene Klass.
Amanda, who has a five-year-old daughter Lexi, had delayed announcing her baby news until January when she was over six months pregnant.
“They are utterly devastated. Amanda had been closely monitored throughout her pregnancy and it is not yet known what went wrong,” said Holden’s spokesman Alison Griffin. (ANI)
