LONDON - Movie studio executives have reportedly rejected the latest script to bring Kiefer Sutherland’s hit action drama ‘24′ to the big screen.
After eight seasons on air, ‘24′ came to an end last year.
However, producers subsequently confirmed plans to turn the show into a movie.
But bosses at 20th Century Fox have scrapped ‘State Of Play’ writer Billy Ray’s most recent plot efforts, according to Entertainment Weekly
Howard Gordon, the executive producer of the show, insists discussions about the storyline are still ongoing as they search for the perfect plot.
“I understand Tony Scott (director/producer) is meeting with Kiefer to talk about ideas. People are still talking about it,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling EW.com. (ANI)
