NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Paul Weitz directed comedy film “Little Fockers” is all set to hit the theaters on December 22. The legendary actor Robert De Niro will make a comeback to comedy film through the sequel of “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers” and the actor has received appreciation for his role in the movie. The powerhouse star-cast of the movie includes Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman, Blythe Danner, Laura Dern, Barbra Streisand, Jessica Alba and Harvey Keitel. The stars attended the premiere of the movie in New York earlier this week.
While speaking about his role in the movie “Little Fockers”, Robert De Niro said that he had fun on the sets and he enjoyed the whole experience. He said that while doing a comedy film, the actor faces less ‘constrictions’ or restrictions as the director gives the actors liberty to get into the skin of the characters. The Academy award-winning actor expressed his happiness as his friend Harvey Keitel was also cast in the film. The actor said that he felt good as his old friend Harvey Keitel was also in the movie. He said that Harvey Keitel is one of his dearest and oldest friends and it was a terrific experience to work with him.
On the other hand, before the official release of “Little Fockers”, actor Ben Stiller has reportedly said that he has written the story of fourth installment of “Meet The Parents” franchise. The actor, reportedly, said that he would begin filming the movie next year. If the media reports are to be believed, then the movie “Little Fockers” has already grossed $800 million in the box office. Actor Robert De Niro plays the role of a distrustful father-in-law Jack Tiberius Byrnes who is married to Dina Byrnes (played by Blythe Danner).
