MJ named ‘Top-Earning Dead Celeb’

WASHINGTON - King of Pop Michael Jackson has landed the top spot on Forbes’ 10th annual ranking of the Top-Earning Dead Celebrities.
Although Jackson never got a slot on Forbes’ annual Celebrity 100 list during his life, he earned more than any other star in the past year, apart from Oprah Winfrey.
Not only did he grace the top spot with a whopping 275 million dollars, he out-earned the other 12 stars on the list combined.
Cultural icon Elvis Presley came in second. The King of Rock n’ Roll’s estate pulled down 60 million dollars in the 12-month period.
Lord of the Rings author J.R.R Tolkien took the third spot.
Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz, and John Lennon came in at the fourth and fifth spot, respectively.
