The first recipe for roasting pumpkin seeds in oven requires one and a half cup of raw whole pumpkin seeds, two tablespoons of melted butter and one pinch of salt. The oven should be preheated to a temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius) and the pumpkin seeds should be properly tossed into a bowl with melted butter and salt. The last step simply requires the mixture to be carefully spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and baked for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Stir the mixture occasionally. It is upto the cook to decide how to serve the dish, hot or cold.
The second recipe on how to cook pumpkin seeds is equally easy and does not need an oven. It requires the seeds to be thoroughly cleaned in water. Put half a tablespoon of peanut oil in a nine inch pan and add two cups of pumpkin seeds in it. Pour half tablespoon of oil on top of the seed and sprinkle the seeds with two tablespoons of cinnamon, three tablespoons of brown sugar and two tablespoons of ginger. Cook the mixture at a temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Allow the dish to cool and then serve.
