LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The celebrity couple Ben Harper and Laura Dern has recently hogged limelight after the former reportedly filed for divorce from his former wife. This news came as a shock to the media outlets as the couple was spotted together at a party last week. When asked the representatives of the couple denied to comment anything about the matter by saying that they would be able to provide any “information”.

The Grammy award-winning singer Ben Harper and “Wild at Heart” actress Laura Dern walked down the aisle in 2005 after dating each other for five years. The couple has a son and a daughter together. The media outlets are claiming that Ben Harper has filed for divorce from his wife last Friday citing “irreconcilable” differences. The couple has also asked for joined custody of their children Ellery Walker (born August 21, 2001) and Jaya (born November 28, 2004). A source close to the couple reportedly said the couple would be parting ways amicably but could not cite any more reasons for the split.

However, a source close to the couple said that both Laura Dern and Ben Harper spent the whole year traveling around places and nobody could even say that the couple was staying separately. Even three weeks before the couple flew down to Hawaii to shower their blessing in the wedding of their close friend Eddie Veddar. Laura Dern and Ben Harper were always tight lipped about their private life and managed to keep their personal matter away from the media glances. However, this time also, the couple has kept the whole divorce procedure a hush-hush affair. The media outlets are presently waiting for them to comment something about their reported split.
