‘Last Comic Standing’ judge Greg Giraldo dies aged 44

WASHINGTON - ‘Last Comic Standing’ judge Greg Giraldo has died, five days after he was hospitalized for an accidental prescription pill overdose.
E! News reports friend and fellow comic, Jim Norton, 42, first announced his death.
“Greg Giraldo passed away today. This is the last photo of us together, taken June 28 at Noam’s wedding, RIP buddy,” Usmagazine.com quoted Norton as tweeting.
“Belly-laugh hilarious, prolific, good and kind. A thousand oys can’t express,” according to comedian Sarah Silverman.
Known for roasting celebrities such as Joan Rivers and David Hasselhoff, Giraldo began his career as a Columbia and Harvard Law School-educated attorney before venturing into the world of comedy.
According to TMZ, Giraldo-who was divorced-was surrounded by his three children at the time of his death in a New Brunswick, NJ hospital. (ANI)
