TIM BURTON’s longtime score collaborator DANNY ELFMAN has been commissioned to create the score for Cirque du Soleil’s new Los Angeles show, IRIS.

The high-flying circus spectacular will begin a residency at the home of the Oscars, the Kodak Theatre, next summer (11).

The production has been designed to pay tribute to Hollywood.

Elfman is best known for his scores to Burton’s movies as the opening theme for The Simpsons.
