Kollywood actors pay final respect to actor Murali

September 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The entire Tamil film industry is shocked about the sudden death of actor Murali, who passed away this morning at 4.00 due to massive cardiac arrest. The actor was rushed to Ramachandra Hospital as he complained of severe chest pain. The versatile actor happens to be the son of Kannada Filmmaker Siddalingaiah and made his debut in 1984 playing lead role in ‘Poovilangu’ followed by Manirathnam’s ‘Pagal Nilavu’.

The actor has acted nearly in 100 films with most of them turning to be the biggest hits that includes ‘Pudhu Vasantham’, ‘Idhayam’, Desiya Geetham’, ‘Vetri Kodi Kattu’, ‘Samuthiram’, ‘Anandam’ and many more. Actor Murali won Tamil Nadu State Government Award for his spellbinding performance in ‘Kadal Pookal’ directed by Bharathiraja.

Murali’s son Atharva recently made his debut in films playing lead role in ‘Baana Kaathadi’, in which the ace actor performed a cameo role.

As soon as the news about his demise reached the film actors and technicians, they immediately rushed to his house paying final respects to him.

Superstar Rajnikanth, Arjun, Sarath Kumar, Parthiban, director Cheran, actress Revathy, Radhika, Saranya, Chinni Jayanth, Manobala, Thalaivasal Vasanth, Saravanan, Senthil, Vaiyapuri and many others were present.

Actor Murali is survived by his wife Shobha, daughter Kavya and son Atharva.
