MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- ‘Hello Darling’ a film directed by debutante director Manoj Tiwari was touted as a ’sex comedy’. However, the movie proves that this genre needs careful handling of the plot and understanding of human psychology, failing which the comic element degrades into farce and forced laughter. The film has some of the finest actors of Bollywood but sadly enough the plot is wafer thin and it ends up offering the viewers the same old story in a new package.
Javed Jaffrey who plays the peeping tom boss with an eye on his three pretty female subordinates does his act well. The threesome who are the objects of his desire and lust are actresses Gul Panag, Eesha Koppikkar and Celina Jaitley. The womanizer boss tries to get cozy to them and they keep on devising new ways to ward off his efforts. One such effort lands the trio in a trouble as well. Divya Dutta plays the suffering wife of the boss and just like most of the actresses playing such roles she plays the damsel in distress with aplomb. She approaches a mafia style organization so that her wanted ring hubby gets a lesson. Sadly, an actress like Seema Biswas gets wasted in an insignificant role in Hello Darling.
There are some predictable turns and twists in the plot of the film Hello Darling. Chunkey Pandey does a funny act as well. The actresses with the exception of Eesha Koppikar wear lots of skimpy outfits but they do not necessarily make them sultry and seductive. This at the end remains a forgettable movie.
