Path of Hurricane Danielle Details

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - The people in the East coast of America are terrified as the news of Hurricane Danielle approaching quickly is being spread. Hurricane Danielle is now reported to be in middle of the Atlantic.

The Hurricane is moving west-northwestward at a speed of about 18 mph. The hurricane is expected to slow down and take a turn to the northwest over the next few days.

After a brief weakening to a tropical storm on Tuesday afternoon and early evening, Danielle has become a Hurricane of category I again. Further strengthening is possible on Thursday.

There is another area of low pressure that is being tacked and is called 96L right now. It is located on other side of Atlantic. There is large area of cloudiness and showers associated with it.

As the hurricane has reached the special category, it is constantly being monitored by the experts. According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, till Wednesday morning the sustained winds were increased to 140 kilometers per hour. Danielle is the second Hurricane in the Atlantic this year. According to the experts it was about 1,320 miles or 2,120 kilometers east of the Lesser Antilles islands till Monday. The latest information demonstrates that Hurricane Danielle was 1,275 kilometers east of the Northern Leeward Islands.

Meanwhile another Tropical Strom Frank has crop up. The Tropical Strom Frank has weakened slightly in the Pacific. It has maximum sustained winds of up to 50 mph or 85 kilometers. There are possibilities of the Storm gaining some strength again in the next day or so.

Neither Hurricane Danielle nor Tropical Storm Frank has shown any threat to land till now. Still a tropical storm warning is in effect for Mexico’s coast from Punta Maldonado westward to Zihuatanejo.
