Mary Louise Parker Speaks About “Weeds”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Mary Louise Parker is back with her Showtime’s television series “Weeds” season 6. The premiere episode was aired last night at 10ET/PT. The show received great appreciation from its viewers and the actress shined in her role as Nancy Botwin. In of her recent interviews to a reputed media source the actress revealed that she actually considers herself to be very much like the character which she plays in “Weeds” except for the part about being a drug dealer.
Mary Louise Parker plays the role of a suburban mother in “Weeds” who later becomes a drug dealer in the show. The actress in her recent interview jokingly said that after working in “Weeds” now she knows how to make “marijuana” into “cupcakes and lollipops”. The actress in her interview said that she had always been a darker person like “Wednesday Addams” girl and hence she can relate with her character in the show. The actress then discussed the success of her role in “Weeds” saying that she likes to “work” and she does not lose sight of what she loves doing.
Mary Louise Parker also commented that she does not understand when actors complain as she feels that the actors are getting paid to act. The actress feels lucky for the fact that she gets to do what she likes doing and for her it is an “amazing” feeling. The channel announced before that “Weeds” season 6 will focus on Nancy’s journey with her children, her childish brother-in-law and her financial troubles. This season the audience will also see how Nancy’s family comes under big trouble after her son Shane, kills his mother’s blackmailer in Mexico.
