Dina Lohan Appears On “Today” Show

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Dina Lohan, the mother of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan appeared on “Today” show which was aired yesterday morning. In a tete-e-tete with the host of the show Matt Lauer the mother of “Herbie: Fully Loaded” actress talked about her daughter, her rehab and her supposed early release. The show pulled in huge number of audience as the world is eager to know about Lindsay Lohan’s jail escapades.

Dina Lohan said on “Today” show that Lindsay Lohan may be getting out of rehab earlier than her court ordered 90 days but refused to divulge any details. The mother of “Mean Girls” actress talked about her daughter’s judge Marsha Revel, who is now out of the case saying that she was harsh on Lindsay Lohan and played “hardball”. She also said that her daughter’s life is “magnified” and Lindsay Lohan did not realize the consequence of being an actress as people will always be watching her. However, Dina Lohan said that after coming out of the rehab, her daughter will continue doing movies as that is something she wants to do

Dina Lohan added that the family was “blindsided” by her expletive nail polish incident. She said that the parents can advice the children what they are going to do in life but after the children grow up and turn 18 they do things which they feel like doing and in that case parents lose a little “power” and “control” over their children. According to her Lindsay Lohan has matured with her age and learned “considerably” about her responsibilities. She assured the host that the “Freaky Friday” star would do an interview when she gets out of the rehab. However, for now Lindsay Lohan will remain in rehab unless the case’s new judge, Elden Fox, orders her release.
