Tamil ‘Vamsam’ Movie Review

CHENNAI (GaeaTimes.com) — It’s not always easy for a newcomer to manage a superb hit with his/her maiden venture. But Arulnidhi has managed to do so with his 1st flick ‘Vamsam‘. The movie has hit the theaters today and is getting tremendous response all over.

The movie has been directed by ‘Pasanga’ famed director Pandiraj while the music has been composed by Taj Noor, a former associate of A.R. Rahman. The film is produced by Arulnidhi’s father and CM M.Karunanidhi’s son- MK Thamizharasu. Here is a brief review of Vamsam for you.

‘Vamsam’ is a large canvas story about the life and feelings of 11 generations. Set in the backdrop of Pudukottai in Tamil Nadu, the film takes you through pain and happiness, sweat and smile of the families involved. The hero Arulnidhi plays the role of a learned person who becomes a farmer. Interestingly, it is heard that a cow is playing an important role in the film and named as Asin. The cow is a friend of the heroine Sunaina in the movie and plays a messenger between the lead pair Sunaina and Arulnidhi in Vamsam.

Arulnidhi has played his role beautifully, portraying the life of a farmer in the present conditions. Actress Sunaina also deserve special mention in the film due to her excellent role-playing as a common village girl. The other cast members also gave decent performance in the film.

The music of this film is very catchy and romantic. You are sure to hum some of the tunes once you get to hear them.

Sources have reported that the film is running packed houses since this morning. Beside the good storyline and excellent performances from the cast and crew members, aggressive promotion activities made by the film’s producer M K Thamizharasu has done the trick too.
