LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Reality star Farrah Abraham has recently revealed the tragic story behind the death of her baby’s father. The first season contestant of the reality series ‘16 and Pregnant’ on MTV has earlier maintained silence about the father of her baby and her relationship with him. In a recent report, Farrah Abraham revealed that 18 year old Derek Underwood died in a tragic car crash in 2008 when she was two months pregnant with his child.

The powerful show in MTV is running its 3rd season and the show focuses on the reality behind teenage pregnancies. Maci who appeared in the first season has also recently been in the news as she started a new show with her 20 month old baby. The show ‘Teen Mom’ which is a spin off from ‘16 and Pregnant’. Farrah Abraham appeared in the second episode of the first season. Reports suggest that Farrah Abraham’s baby’s father, Derek Underwood was unaware of Farrah Abraham’s participation on the MTV show.

Derek Underwood, the father of Farrah Abraham’s baby had reportedly lost control of his car and slammed into a nearby pole. The accident also claimed the life of another teenager who was with Derek Underwood in the car. There were also reports that the mother of the other teenager had bought vodka for the teenagers but the case of drunken driving was ruled out when the blood alcohol levels in Derek Underwood was found to be within the permissible limits. Farrah Abraham explained the state of her mind during the difficult period of the death of her baby’s father while she was at a very fragile state of the pregnancy.
