Gautam Ghoses Moner Manush Is An Indo-Bangladeshi Joint Venture

August 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Renowned Bengali film director Gautam Ghose is ready with his latest venture titled Moner Manush (The Man of the Heart), which is an Indo-Bangladeshi joint venture. The movie is based on a novel on Lalon Fakir, written by famous Indian writer and poet Sunil Gangopadhyay.

The movie stars Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead role of Lalon Fakir. Kolkata based producer Goutam Kundu and Bangladeshi producer Habibur Rehman Khan have jointly worked on this project.

The joint venture film also stars veteran actor Soumitra Chatterji as Kabiraj, Raisul Islam Asad as Siraj Sain, Chanchal Chowdhury as Kalu Mridha. Actors Priyanshu Chatterjee, Paoli Dham, and Huda Bachchu can be seen playing other important roles.

Apart from improving the ties between the two nations, such joint venture also expands the market of the films.
