By WENNTuesday, August 3, 2010
JEFF GOLDBLUM has quit his role on hit U.S. drama LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT because of the “uncertainty” of the show’s future.
The actor has played Detective Zach Nichols on the series for the past two years, but he’s now handed in his badge and walked away from the show.
Goldblum’s representative tells Variety.com his exit is “due to the uncertainty” surrounding the series’ future.
The ninth series’ finale aired in the U.S. last month (Jul10) and it has not yet been decided whether there will be a 10th series due to low audience figures, reports the movie website.
