“Ghost Rider” Sequel In Progress

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Veteran Hollywood actor Nicolas cage is a busy man these days and he is back in news as well. The academy award-winning actor who acted in the flick “Ghost Rider”, released in 2007 is all set to be a part of the sequel. The sequel to the successful movie had been in the pipeline but the actor said in a recent talk show that it is in progress. The shooting of the sequel to Ghost Rider is yet to begin. It will be released by Sony Pictures. The actor will enact the role of Johnny Blaze in the film. The first film was a box office success and raked in $228 million globally.

Apart from the sequel to “Ghost Rider” the actor has a number of films ready for release. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is one such film and the promos of Drive Angry 3D are also doing the rounds in the web. The sequel is going to be directed by Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine as it has been confirmed. The official date of release is yet to be known. The actor is also supposed to have a detailed discussion with the director duo regarding certain aspects of the film and he is sure they will do justice to the film.

The tentative name of the sequel is “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”. The actor is of the opinion that the director duo knows how to use camera to give an all new look to a film. The film will be shot in Romania mostly. A part of it may also be shot in the castle of Dracula.
