SEAL ISLAND, SOUTH AFRICA (GaeaTimes.com)- In the entire length of her film career, actress Halle Berry may have fought against human villains or even mutants, this time though will be her first brush with an animal, rather a creature. It has been reported that Halle Berry, who is presently in False Bay in South Africa shooting for her upcoming film will be seen matching her strength against a great white shark in the new movie “Dark Tide”.

Recent photographs of the 43 year old actress in various tabloids show her all dressed in a flower bikini and a black wetsuit discussing the scene where her character is required to hit the waters of False Bay inside a shark cage for her first encounter with a great white shark, bringing to mind Steven Speilberg’s “Jaws”. In the upcoming thriller, Halle Berry plays a diving instructor named Sara who is attacked by a great white shark in the course of the movie. The near fatal accident puts Sara in a dilemma, making it difficult for her to decide whether she should ever dive into sea waters again or not.

Apart from Halle Berry, actor Olivier Martinez is also a part of the “Dark Tide”. If media reports are to be believed, the film, which is still in the stages of filming, has already landed in trouble. Shark experts around the world believe that the upcoming Halle Berry starrer will show the great white shark in a bad light. They are of the opinion that while shark experts have been trying their best to remove the false perception from the human mind that a shark is a very dangerous creature, the film says otherwise. The South African locals are however very excited to see their favorite star in their country.
