LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The United States President was the special guest on the ABC chat show “The View,” an episode that aired on Thursday night. Just when the program commenced on Thursday morning, an announcer on the show exclaimed “We’re making history!” and there was surely not a bit of exaggeration on saying so as President Barack Obama is the very first serving president in American history to appear on a daytime chat show. While talking to the five female presenters of the show which comprised of Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepard as well as Elizabeth Hasselbeck, the U.S. President was at his candid best, charming the ladies with his sense of humor while also making sure that he answers all the questions that they had in store for him.
During his appearance on “The View,” President Barack Obama was his usual confident self while talking about how he hopes to encounter unemployment in the country as well as his take on the present situation in Afghanistan. However, the U.S president was left tongue-tied when one of the hosts Joy Behar asked him whether according to him, Mel Gibson needed classes in anger management to which President Barack Obama responded by only saying that he had not watched a movie of the “Braveheart” star in quite a while.
Although during the first of the interview on “The View,” President Barack Obama talked about serious topics such as jobs, war in Afghanistan and the economy, the U.S. president also cheerfully responded to the other pop culture questions that the presenters asked him.
