Friendship Day Spirit Invades Bollywood

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Friendship Day is almost knocking at the doors and as the country gears up to celebrate the occasion it seems that Bollywood is also in the same mood. At least some of the big Bollywood stars are showing bonhomie to one another. That explains why actor Amir Khan has invited actor Shah Rukh Khan for Peepli Live an upcoming movie made by his production unit which is hogging media attention nowadays. Just a few days back the two actors were spotted together in London and they were having dinner together.

It is not known if Shah Rukh Khan is really going to attend the premiere of the film ‘Peepli Live’ but he seems to be affected by the spirit of Friendship day. A section of media has always tried to spread stories about the so called cold war between the two actors which they have denied several times. Both of them have maintained that they have a cordial relation.

Shah Rukh Khan is also extending hand of friendship to Shiv Sena supremo Uddav Thackerey. He wished the leader of the outfit happy birthday and the wish was published in Saamna the newspaper published by Shiv Sena. The advertisement goes “With Best Compliments From…Red Chillies Entertainment.” The actor had a tiff with the Shiv Sena leader over the release of his film ‘My Name Is Khan’. The controversy hogged plenty of media limelight. It seems that the actor wants to bury the hatchet and he has chosen the occasion of Friendship day which is round the corner to mend the relation.
