‘Khatta Meetha’ Special Screening Today

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Priyadarshan’s latest comedy ‘Khatta Meetha‘ released yesterday and this film takes a dig at the political corruption prevalent in the country. The film which has ace Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as the protagonist is likely to be a hit with the viewers given the fact that the actor director pair has struck gold at the box office several times. The actor who is known as action hero in the industry has also tasted success with comedy in his career. The actor is arranging an exclusive screening of his latest film for some union ministers in the capital today, as it has been reported.
Akshay Kumar essays the role of a Marathi man named Sachin Tichkule in ‘Khatta Meetha‘. The film deals with the various aspects of bureaucracy existing in the Indian political scene and hence some of the ministers are curious about the movie. The two ministers who will be there at the special screening are Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ambika Soni and Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Kamal Nath. Kamal Nath is particularly interested in the movie ad he has wished the actor success in his career.
Actor Akshay Kumar admitted that he arranged for special screenings of the film ‘Khatta Meetha‘ for these ministers. He also added that he is happy about their interest in his film. Apart from the ministers the actor may also arrange another screening of this film for actor Shah Rukh Khan with whom he shares a good rapport. The director of the film is also very happy at this development.
