LOS ANGLES (GaeaTimes.com)–The southern vampires are at it again in the new iteration of True Blood season 3 episode 5, titled “Trouble”. Touted as the best television show of its time True Blood follows the story of a psychic waitress, Sookie in the near future, where the vampires are in the open.

In this episode, aired Monday July 18, 2010 at 9:00 E.T on HBO, Sookie Stackhouse and Alicide consults an alpha wolf to ward off the henchmen of Russell Edgington, the vampire royalty of Mississippi. Tension between Tara and Franklin simmers as she ponders over his proposal to be converted into a vampire. The currently 1000 years old Eric Northman, the vampire sheriff of Louisiana is reminded of his dark past.

Based loosely on Charlaine Harris’s Southern Vampire Mystery books, the immensely popular adult television show is all set to break new grounds in this season. Averaging about 12 episodes per season, the show is set to hit its climax with the new episode titled “I Got a Right to Sing the Blues” to be aired on July 25, 2010. A word of advice though the series contains plenty of blood, gore and nudity.

This was a good episode, the show’s getting better after IMO a bad season 2. I’m loving the Sookie back story now, taking her out of her home into some interesting locations with new brilliant and exciting characters (The queen, these new vampires, hello, could this get much better?)

We’re now finally seeing a bit of development in sookie’s powers to, and the cliff hanger at the end leaves it open for a follow up episode which I’m sure will have her powers will come into play again.
