LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)-Christopher Nolan directed “Inception,” a psycho thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role has hit the theaters and it has already got rave reviews from the film critics. The”Titanic” star has proved once again that he has shed his boyish charms and evolved into a matured actor capable of carrying a serious themed film on his shoulder. The director has proved that he has not lost his mettle after the successful and critically acclaimed “The Dark Knight.” The film may remind some viewers of the “Matrix” series that also dealt with a similar subject but “Inception” takes the journey inside human mind to a new level altogether.
The movie “Inception” is over two hours long but the viewers never feel the film is too long. The director has made it fast paced enough to keep the viewers glued to their seats. The viewers may, however, feel that they are watching a dream sequence that is taking place within a dream. The time and gravity defying actions looks superb on screen though. The so-called mind theft concept has been brilliantly executed in the movie.
Running parallel to the main plot is the sub-plot of the love life of the protagonist. The viewers of “Inception” feel sad for the actor who pursues his journey in the dark corridors of human mind while the thought of his children and family keep tormenting him. Marion Cotillard also delivers a commendable performance in this flick. The director has won several awards for his past movies and “Inception” can add more feathers to his cap.
