‘Peepli Live’ Political Controversy Cleared

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Aamir Khan is among the most talented actors Indian film industry has ever produced and he has also tasted success as a producer in his career. His latest production named ‘Peepli Live’ is going to be released next month and the trailers and promos of the film have succeeded in creating a positive buzz. The audio launch of the film which took place yesterday evening also turned out to be a star studded event which was covered by the media entities. Recently the film got mired in a bit of controversy over one of its songs that was rumored to be taken up by a political party for campaigning against the ruling UPA government. However, Aamir Khan has made it clear that he would not allow any political party to use songs from the upcoming film for their own purposes.

It is true that the song named Mahangai Dayan takes a potshot at the government for the increasing inflation a but the actor said that ‘Peepli Live’ is not meant for representing the views of any particular political party. Reportedly the members of an opposition part approached him so that they could use the song in their campaign but Aamir Khan refused to entertain their demand.

‘Peepli Live’ is slated for August 13 release and it has been directed by Anusha Rizwi who is making a debut in Bollywood with this film. Amir Khan is known for making films which are based on real life issues yet turn out to be entertaining. His fans are hoping this film also repeats the trend.
