MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- After rocking the stage of the FIFA World Cup 2010, Shakira is all set to entertain her audiences in India. According to reports from Bollywood, Shakira will lend her voice for an upcoming film to be released here. This will be her first brush with the Hindi film industry, where she will work with music composers Salim - Suleiman.

If all goes well Shakira may start her recording in India with composer duo Salim - Suleiman as soon as next month this year. Bollywood is going global and this is the second time in a span of only one year that an international singer has been roped in to lend her voice for numbers to be used in Hindi films. While the Akshay Kumar starrer “Blue” did not do well at the box office, pop star Kylie Minogue’s peppy number ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ was a hit with the audience in India.

Though nothing about the film for which the Colombian pop princess will lend her voice has been confirmed, it is being said that Salim - Suleiman want to make use of the Latin influence in their new film. Reports claim that Shakira will record a cabaret song for the upcoming untitled venture.

The world is still not out of the ‘Waka Waka’ mood initiated by Shakira during the World Cup, so it is expected that her new Latin number to be recorded in India will keep the audiences on their feet yet again. Not only is Salim - Suleiman excited about the new venture, Bollywood too is waiting to welcome the star from Colombia in their midst.
