Malaria Strikes Cheryl Cole Hard

LONDON (GaeaTimes.com)- Cheryl Cole the famous British TV personality and singer is now down with malaria and the news has been confirmed by her representative. She is now recovering from the ailment in a private hospital in London. The singer who is 27 now reportedly fell ill and lost consciousness when she was doing a photo shoot a few days back. The incident made everyone worried and they had thought it was result of burnout and stomach ache. However, she also had high fever and test at the hospital confirmed that she was afflicted with the disease.

Cheryl Cole is now recuperating from malaria and owing to that she would not be able to fulfill her work commitments in the next week as her representative has said. She is the co judge in the popular British reality talent show The X Factor where she shares workspace with previous American Idol judge Simon Cowell. She reportedly got the disease when she was in a trip to Tanzania, an African country last month. She went to the trip with her close buddy Derek Hough. She started feeling frequent stomach aches after returning from the trip. On Sunday her condition worsened and she was feeling really bad as she told doctors.

Derek Hough is by her bedside as reports have said. The star will need some time to recover from the onslaught of Malaria. Her fans are wishing that she gets well soon and resume her work. The doctors have advised her to take a break from work and ensure that the weakness is gone before she can think about resuming work at all.
