MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Ushoshi Sengupta, the 21 year old girl hailing from the city of joy, Kolkata was crowned Miss India Universe late last month. Audiences across the nation got the opportunity to witness the moment of glory of the ravishing beauty when this year’s ‘I Am She’ Miss India contest was aired last night on Sony Entertainment Television. The fact that the beauty pageant that was aired last night was successful in generating extensive viewership does not come as a surprise as like every previous year even this time around, Miss India contest was successful in creating huge hype among the audiences.

Although the 21 year old beauty queen has been able to emerge as the winner in ‘I Am She’ Miss India Universe 2010, the goal of this Bengali beauty is far from materializing. Ushoshi Sengupta is all set to represent India in the much coveted Miss Universe pageant which is scheduled to take place at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas later in the month of August. While talking about the prospect of representing her country internationally, this year’s Miss India Universe winner reiterated that it would indeed be a very proud moment for her and she would be giving her best shot to make most of this opportunity.

Meanwhile, Ushoshi Sengupta quite open about her plans to ultimately make it big in Bollywood. In a recent interview, the 21 year old revealed that being an actress had always been a dream for her and she is really looking forward to do a movie with none other than Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the near future.
